Former besties Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley are back at it, and their screaming match in the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 trailer has everyone talking—and it even caught their costar Sutton Stracke off guard. “My thoughts were, ‘Let’s not have the police called on us,’” Sutton, 53, spilled to Us Weekly at Hayu FanFest in London.
Bravo dropped the jaw-dropping trailer earlier this month, and it’s clear things get heated when Kyle, 55, and Dorit, 48, face off at a dinner party. “God gave you two ears and one mouth for a reason; can you let me talk?” Kyle snapped, but Dorit wasn’t having it. “It’s OK Kyle, it’s time for you to f—ing listen,” she fired back. Talk about a mic drop! The details surrounding their blow-up are murky—especially with Kyle’s messy separation from Mauricio Umansky hanging in the air—but Sutton was clearly taken aback. “That evening is going to be a really great episode because I think none of us saw it coming,” Sutton teased. “I’m going to keep you on pins and needles because it was wild.”
When it comes to whether Kyle and Dorit can patch things up, Sutton kept her lips zipped. “I am not going to comment on that,” she said, but hinted that there’s plenty of drama ahead. “I think there are lots of explosive arguments that we’re going to see, but then we’re also going to see a lot of fun. It balances.”
Sutton is trying to be “more sensitive” with Kyle this season, especially given her heartache. The two were married for 20 years and share four daughters, but they’ve yet to file for divorce. “I wanted to be a better friend,” Sutton stressed. “Our friendship kind of had to go through some rocky times to get there, but I want to see her happy.”
And don’t forget the friendship we all love to watch: Sutton’s tight bond with fellow RHOBH star Garcelle Beauvais. “We are thick as thieves. Garcelle and I are best friends, and I love her dearly,” Sutton gushed. “When I get home, I’m about to host the baby shower for her granddaughter at my house.”
